After the Covid-19 pandemic, the world rethinks the ways of being together and the possibilities of partnerships (virtual or in person). Maintaining gatherings and collectives of artists over time has not been easy. How is it possible to think of partnerships? How do we overcome distances and lack of incentives? How to preserve yourself in time?

ALEXIS MORENO (CHI)

actor, playwright, screenwriter, director, and theater scholar. Together with his artistic group, Compañía Teatro La María, he has developed a career for 22 years and has at least 24 work productions in Chile and abroad, being considered one of the prominent voices of the contemporary scene in his country.

GONÇALO AMORIM (POR)

artistic director of Teatro Experimental do Porto since 2013 and FITEI – International Theater Festival of Iberian Expression, since 2014. He studied anthropology at New University of Lisbon and a degree at Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema. In 2007, he received the Critics’ Award (APCT) for the staging of “Foder e Ir às Compras” by Mark Ravenhill. In 2012, he received a special mention from the same Portuguese association for his work as a director in the previous year.

GUSTAVO TARRÍO (ARG)

has a long trajectory dedicated to writing and staging shows and performances that combine dance, musical theater, and multiple intersections. A directing professor at the Universidad de las Artes (UNA), he conceived works such as “Afuera,” “Todo Piola,” “La Guiada,” “Familia No Tipo y la Nube Maligna.”

ORLANDO AROCHA (VEN)

associate director of the company La Caja de Fósforos and co-founder of the Teatro del Contrajuego, both in Caracas. He has a degree in ethnology and a postgraduate degree in theater from the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris. He staged plays in Brazil, France, Portugal, and Spain. He directed the institution Ateneo de Caracas and the International Festival of Caracas.

ELIANA MONTEIRO (BRA)

director of the Teatro da Vertigem group, since 1998. Master’s student in performing arts at the University of São Paulo. Director and artistic-pedagogical advisor of schools and theater groups. She directed the show “Enquanto Ela Dormia,” produced by Sesi São Paulo.
