Putting apparently incompatible notions into play, such as excess and practice, rigor, and explosion, is what this workshop, coordinated by choreographers Marcela Levi and Lucía Russo from the show “c h ãO,” proposes, artists who defend the daily forge that articulates corporalities and dramaturgy that highlight contradictions and ambiguities. For this, the duo bets on what is alive, that is, fragmentary and incomplete: fragmenting the body to articulate it, to release its power of relationship.

MARCELA LEVI (BRA) E LUCÍA RUSSO (ARG)

founded in 2010, in Rio de Janeiro, Improvável Produções, a nomadic place for training, research, and creation. The artists believe in a polyphonic direction in which different inventive positions intersect. At the same time, they guide workshops at art centers and universities in Brazil and abroad.
